Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Math Booster is a mental math game at math.quizz.gg, in the Android app and on game portals such as Facebook Instant Games and Newgrounds. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions: contact@quizz.gg.
Playing as a guest
You can play without an account. As a guest:
- Your settings (sound, pace, language) are kept in your browser or app storage on your device only.
- Your scores stay on your device and are not sent to us, unless you share a score: then the score, level and language are sent to make the share card and link.
- Anonymous usage statistics are collected (see Analytics).
When you log in
You can log in with Google, Facebook, Discord, Newgrounds or an email address and password. We keep:
- Your login: the account ID the provider gives us, and the name and profile photo they share at log in. For an email account, your email address and password (passwords are stored hashed by Firebase Authentication; we never see them).
- Your player: display name, country, language, best score, best level, streaks, number of games, and when you joined, last logged in and last played.
- Your runs: the score, level and date of each saved run, and the platform and app version it was played on.
- Shares: the score cards you create and their links.
Your country is worked out from your IP address when you log in, using an IP lookup service (ipwho.org, or ipwho.is as a fallback). We store only the country, not your IP address.
What other players can see
Your display name, country, scores, levels, streaks and recent runs are shown on the leaderboards and on your player profile. Anyone with a share link can see that score card. You can change your display name at any time in My profile.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the game is played and to fix problems. It records events such as screens opened, games started and finished, and buttons used, together with an anonymous ID stored on your device (your player ID once you log in), your device and browser type and an approximate location that Google derives from your IP address. See how Google uses this data.
How we use your information
- To run the game: logging in, saving your runs, leaderboards, profiles and share links.
- To understand usage, fix bugs and improve the game.
- To keep the game fair and secure.
We do not sell your information, and the game shows no ads.
Service providers
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: hosting, database, login and file storage (servers in Singapore).
- Google Analytics: usage statistics.
- ipwho.org / ipwho.is: country lookup at log in.
- Google, Facebook, Discord and Newgrounds: only when you choose to log in with them, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Your account information is kept until you delete your account. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics settings and then deleted automatically.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data at any time in the game: My profile › More options › Delete account. This deletes your player, runs, leaderboard scores, share cards and login straight away. See Delete your account for the steps, or if you can't log in.
Your choices and rights
You can see your information in My profile, change your display name, and delete your account. To ask for a copy of your information or anything else about your privacy, email contact@quizz.gg.
Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to stored data is limited to the game's servers.
Children
Math Booster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
